Hey guys,
Yes, this I am the same Burnin' from the good ole 777 AVG days. Many of you remember my old squadron the 777 AVG. Glad to see so many old time IL-2 guys here. Some good times back in the day.
Nowadays, I own 777 Studios and earlier this year we licensed the Merlin engine and have begun to make our own flight-sim. We're slowly making progress and some of my team, like Goodwood, are veterans of IL-2 and PF projects. Matter of fact my team is mainly a mix of IL-2 and BOB II veterans. Anyways, Goodwood brought up the idea of giving you guys our TBD, Beau and Gekko models for possible import into the modded IL-2. Considering the advanced state of the TBD it should be possible. The Gekko needs a lot more work and the Beaus we have are the original Mk. 21 and some earlier Mks including a Mk. 2 Night Fighter and the Mk. VI and the Mk. X. However, I see you already modded a Mk. X which was cool to see. We knew the Beau would be popular when it got put into IL-2. And just for the record, we were told not to bother with the other Mks since PF was in the PTO and the Aussie Mk. 21 was a better fit. We made the other Mks as a bonus, but Luthier decided not to pursue them for inclusion.
We also had plans for a Vindicator to complete the Midway scenario, but we quit before we got that far. No mesh exists, but it would be fun to have. To be honest I have not followed IL-2 modding so seeing all of this activity is very cool.

If anyone involved with a legit modding team wants our source material I can provide the files. it's a lot of stuff and you'll have to probably sift through it a little bit to get what you need for import, but it's all there. I must admit that our models and skins weren't the best, but the TBD would look good and so would the Gekko in game. Our Beau looks so crappy in some ways because of the tight poly counts we had to work with back then.
Anyways, glad there is interest. PM me for my email if you are a modder.

Ive been waiting for the devastator to be added in a patch or something since i bought pacific fighters. That would be killer indeed.
Throw in the D4Y Judy and the the Curtiss Helldiver and pretty much all bases are covered as far as IJN/USN.

in doing all my research for the Slot and New Guinea - New Britain, i fould the plane most missing is the F1m Pete float plane.

You'll be happy to know we plan to have the Pete in my upcoming flight-sim title.

Its amazing how the famous or infamous Devastator went missing in IL2. This AC must have been the darling of the IJN fighter pilots
