Can anybody post the original "Can_40_load" file. I've changed some lines to see the new textures and now the map doesn't load, and I forgot to save the file for backup.

well after messing around and getting a few errors and having to restart time and time again i come to a finalized edit off my edited Can_40_load.ini

you only need to copy and paste over dnt forget to backup in case your pc melts if you wish to use my version

Creamy's load.ini file works wonderfully in my PC. Wonderful wonderful textures. Will they be included as a default in Cannon's last Britain map version?

I pasted 22 new textures to MAPMODS "Can_Channel" folder " , removed old and copied and pasted new above posted FIELDS tga's in to Can_40_load.ini and getting error :
Mission loading failed:Landscape"Can_Channel/Can_40_load.ini" loading error .
Please , what in the world I have done wrong , I am trying to play new Biggin Hill campaing but can't get those 22 new textures to work .

oppen the map in fmb, there u can use shift+tb to see the console, and there it will show what the error is.
like this INTERNAL ERROR: Can't open file 'MAPS/_Tex/land/summer/green.tga
that can meen
1. (most comment) spelling error, check, so u have the line right
2.the map dont exist (u are loading a map whit custom textures that u have forget to place rigth or u have of mistake deleted it.
3.or havent been loaded to the mem/Cache,(most comment u are tired, time to take a break, or u have drinking to much beer)
the last happen to me, did an new texture, i had il2 running, tested the map in fmb, and he coplined that he cu dent find the map, me gos what a H the texture is there, in the map, then Idea ohh forget to realod il2 so it cud faind the the texture, hehe.

did you try retreiving old textures and copy n paste over emm with the new ones, or you could have missed a texture when you unzipped just a theory because the only textures i used where compans.

Ok - after reading the problems here ...will somebody make this an auto -install & let me know when it can sfely be installed---looks beautiful,but not worth screwing up all the other things it appears to do....!

It can't have an auto installer really.. you get to choose which textures you want for the type of terrain required.. Either British/French or Dutch fields etc... it is all beta too.. Smile
