Cockpit Request.

Bee Wrote:If anyone can upload Fred dy's P-51 cockpit repaint without any of the abhorrent FM changes or other foolishness, that would be great. This pony-driver could use a bit of a spruce up in the front office.

Edit: Mods, please delete this if I've overstepped the mark by mentioning this. :?

nope, you're fine (just about ...) .... as for uploading cockpit files , only if there is permission from Freddy .... remember what happen with 109's some months ago .

Try this: http://www.mediafire.com/?mzhzmezw1nh

It isn't Zaelu Pack but works fine

Pack include:
"No Orange Circle" and "Wire Moved"

It may not be the most glamorous of aircraft in Il-2, but the cockpit for the P11c could decidedly use a serious update. It's flat, colored with too much contrast and with no relief and hardly up to standards of other cockpits in the game.

As Il-2 cockpits go, the P11c is lagging far behind in looks. Could use a repaint.

Hy everyone,
i have a question or more a desire. Could someone add the Ta152 to the bar out mod?

thx Kane

I have a real good idea: create a cockpit for the Fw 189A-2. Oh, and the Morane, too!

Yeah, a Morane re paint would be nice, but...

What about a P-38 Lightning re paint?

That would be awsome!

If cockpit modders need some scans of instruments, I could supply a few. I've gathered a couple from the P-38. Just shoot me a mail at jamf72 {at} hotmail dot com.

I have prepared a couple, like these examples:

I hope someone gives the '38 some TLC. Smile

JAMF,

that is very useful, could you upload it somewhere. In time I discover that I developed passion for instruments and gauges. Knowing in them is now like some kind of hobby to me Big Grin

I took Il-2 (early type) and LaGG-3 (series 1-11) to repaint the cockpit completely, just for info (if someone interested).
After that -- I plan to finish all the rest series of propelled Yaks... But it's in the far future...

Best wishes,
Mangas.

Uploaded and PMs sent.

I'll leave the thread creation to you guys? The set is not complete so some sourcing of items to scan, like the RPM guage, speedometer and VSI should still be done. A P-51 'Stang version of the speedometer should be the same.

Yup, got that in the files uploaded as well, RitterCuda. Well, my scan of the same instrument.

Small exercise from yesterday. I was curious can I make gauges and reflection on them but to look like they are lit by sun light. It is for Fiat Cr.42 (ideal candidate for sunlight because of open cockpit) and they are resized a bit.
