Just to let everyone know that work has now resumed on my final release. It's incredibly slow but I've started to get a little spare time to work on it, so it's not just sitting stagnant on my hard-drive.

At the moment, I would have said at least a month, probably more.

are the city and other textures necessary or can we use the default ones?

Thought I'd post a couple of screenshots to show what I've done.

I'm redoing as many grass airfields as I can using textures. I can get 4 airfields per texture slot, and I can just about sacrifice 4 texture slots from my load.ini. I think it's worth it I won't be doing the same with concrete airfields because I simply don't have enough slots available. Shame there's no way to add extra texture slots to the load.ini.

Anyway, thought I'd just let people know what I was up to

I don't know if this has been asked before but could you point me in the general direction of some WW2 photos of some of your airfields? I'm looking for displacement of planes, vehicles, quarters etc. You've got all these terrific places built and I'd like to keep the authenticity by putting the ground details in the correct places.
