That's what I dont know how to do.
All I want is to make the missle with it's own handling ingame with BI-1 cockpit.

Everyone start at a point yeah? So tell us what can you do right now. And start looking at tutorials, looking at samples how stuffs are done instead of sit back and whining... It ain't gonna help. And if you want to have it flying in game, you have to make the 3d first thing first. So download GMax and play around with it until you got the shape right.

Well, first of all, the missle has some 87,000 polys and 88,000 verticies so i'll have to lower that. Also yes I will look at some tutorials. Let ya know when there's an update... Seems i've got a wip :roll:

I'll look forward to it. But it is simplier to REMAKE a new model with less than 2,000 polys, but still have the same detail. Reducing polys is not a simple task, trust me.

Yes actually the idea to reduce 87000 Polygons to less than 3000 is absurd. Forget the missle you have now, and re-make it.

But since you want to pilot it as a plane, it can be up to 10,000 polys, but, it must be break into many different component, and the LOD, damage models and stuff.

Hmm... make new missle huh? Maybe I could make the Hs-293 flyable. Since it's so small it could be lounched from practicly anywhere. And the damage model should be easy from its small size. I may throw in a ehem "special" warhead :wink: :mrgreen:

Having crazy fantasy idea is good, but most mods is done by "down to Earth" people. LOL. You will need get dirty and mess with the stuffs to see how thing work to get a grip on how to make your idea happen.

Hmm, Is there a .msh file for it. If so how do I convert it to a .3ds file? Also about the crazy idea thing, I'm just trying to make il2 with more possibilitys or like uhh well i'm not sure how to word it but just to make it fun for me and then for anyone who wants it can download it. :mrgreen:

You should never use pre-made models for this stuff, for copyright issues and compatibility.

Modeling a missile is quite and easy task once you get used to modeling, and I recommend you to learn the basic tools of Gmax before advancing.
Modding itself is pretty hard to learn in one day, it takes a lot of time, trial and error to get things going.
