I was able to attach a working slip gauge to the Mk 8 sight. I have figured out the sliding canopy as well but it requires a fm change so I will not be able to deliver on that. That should be feasible on Th!rdeye's 47C though.

Sorry about the poor graphics. I'm using the onboard chip for now.

That's Awesome! How many AC had this slipball on the sight? This would be very useful for il2 since it's hard to keep the ball centered and aim at the same time, I wish I could have it on every plane but I don't want it on anything that didn't have it irl.

I think probably most people use the 6DOF mod to sight in the iron sights.

But I do have an alternative if anyone is interested. By reworking a few things this version switches between reflector sight and iron sight using shift-F1.

This will not be in the standard version for the v2.0 cockpits, but I will make it available to those who prefer not to use 6DOF but would like functional iron sights.

Your on the top of the list Diablo. Big Grin

In this patch the centered cockpit view is replaced by the iron sight view. That would be the drawback of using it. For the Bubbletops its not a big deal as the reflector sight is on the central axis. For the razorbacks you won't have a truly centered view, but the iron sight is not very far off of the central axis anyway.

Personally, I hardly used the centered cockpit view anyway, but I know everyone has there own preference.

By the way you can still use 6DOf with this patch, it doesn't interfere with it in any way, this would just give you a quick key to get to iron sights. Running without 6DOF you get the head shake effect which is kind of immersive.

V2 is coming along well, and should be posted soon. Many many thanks to Flushy and Poncho. 8)

A WIP update on correcting a few small issues with the Jug not included in V2 but added later when finished.

Raw wheel hubs and tyre treads, to be worked on, should be for each type.
