I know that there are weapon difference , I'll investigate the changing of the weapon from american to japan in the future but changing their position need 3d reworking that I'm unable to comply and that should involve a real new ship and not a simple frankenship experiments!

sorry if you misunderstood me, I wasn't picking at your design, which is pretty good.
Can I make a request though, since you can move the bridge around, if you feel like it, for your next ship, you might be able to remove the bridge altogether and sort of turn the shup in a Japanese CVL, as they had no bridge amove the deck.
But, judging by your screenshots,I cannot wait for your ship, it will be a slightly better "hack"than i have seen.
It will be espically good when I am in my zero, look to my left, and right next to me is the bridge.
If you ever need help with Japanese CV or CVL questions, give me a bell, I very good on the subject and I have some really good sources.
But, I am still going happy chappy over the ship, can't wait.
Judging by the progress, do you think you might be able to make HSFX 4.2, or do you believe that is not possible.

I absolutely don't think you have pick my desing!
Any discussion is very wellcome and your post is nice for me!
In the next work I have:
A correct Kaga (Akagi hull and deck island on the other side);
a correct CVE (without deck island);
a correct Soryu (Shokaku hull and Hiryu deck island)
I'll give also a try to modify the dimension of the ship to fit the correct ones!
BUT....don't look at quick times....I hope for Christmas....I have really few times free!!!!
I don't understant what you mean about HSFX 4.2 , can you explain better please?

Cool, if everything goes alright we get a great christmas gift from you.
What I mean by HSFX 4.2 is it is the next mod version from 242 squadron for this sim, I currently run IL2 1946 HSFX 4.1, a mod pack from 242 squadron that incorporates several mods from this sight.
I am also glad you are doing a corrected CVE with no island, that would be cool.
And I understand by what you mean by few times free, I work in IT and rarely get to indulge my hobby of world war two Japanese carrier history, which is kind of the way I know alot about Japanese carriers.

Now I understand!
Sice the ship I'm modifying are from HSFX they should work quite well also on the future 4.2!
If you agree I'll ask you some picture or drawings of the carriers when I'll begin the new skin for them!

Sure thing, just give me the heads up when you want the colour skins for them and I will do my best to give you accurate information
I do have the paint schemes for Hiryu for the battle of midway thanks to the Book "Shattered Sword"but the picture of Hiryu is on 2 A4 Pages, the entire ship lenght is spread over those pages, and the binding will make it difficult to get it fully scanned, but I will do my best for you.
