[WIP] ebro1938 - NEW RELEASE - SEPT-2010
#16

That's going to be a large number of airbases indeed.

I noticed the place names have been put on the map, and if these are going to be on the finished map as well, I was wondering if perhaps you could include the town of Bielsa. It is on the road north of Ainsa in the highest region of the Pyrenees, and was scene of one of the last aerial bombardments of the war, in early 1939. In reality it was quite a one-sided affair by then, but I think by adding some Republican defenders it's quite a gripping mission.

It's a scenario that can be played on any mountainous map of course, but setting it up on a map of Spain itself would add that little bit extra, that touch that we strive to do our best in, when it comes to historical scenarios.

thank you guys, going slowly latly due to changing computer, old one passed away.

ebro1938, map and pic of a "mosca" flying on the battle area, textures are simple and not worked out yet, just to allow further development, rivers have been implemented such that bridges can be set up where already planned

The map looks simply outstanding. Much better than the standard FMB map colors. Must have taken a lot of work.

Just out of curiosity, which graphics program do you use to work on your maps? I am a great Paint Shop pro (7) fan and can use it with little problem and know my way around it.

But when working on tga files, it always seems to give problems.

Do you use any other such as GIMP or Photoshop?

Looks like this is going to be a very detailed map - obviously even at this stage a lot of work has gone into it.
