That can be good in some cases but not in others; in any case it can create problems (the smoke looks like it just leapt right out of a badly-compressed Youtube video due to too much contrast with nothing done to compensate). Your style is well-suited to action movies but to be honest it doesn't work out so well with screenshots.
I would suggest some SLIGHT editing of the colour levels, contrast, and lighting before anything else - just gently dodge-and-blur maybe. There's no reason to go all-out every single time.
