... yeah but that's just like with any other effect it strongly depends on user's graphic card / driver / dll /monitor/ game settings ( endless combination )

to make such mod which would satisfy all users .... huh , i see lots of testing and tuning here :wink:

Avala, this map is a work of art. Thank you!

@Redko, I like your Gapa settings and have been experimenting with them in game. I used to like setting up different colour profiles with the older nvidia drivers, something which is sadly not possible with the newer drivers. Thank goodness for this Gapa utility. 8)

HI people.

Some pics for week end :wink: . I'm trying to find some good Gapa settings for nightfall but it's harder than aspected. I realize it's a really limited tool working fine for midday mission but for mornings and nights it's more complicated.

I tested Avala's settings, they are very sweet and naturals.

No processing except last one. Others with gapa only:

Hey! I was flying a quick mission over Skull Island to drop a few "eggs" on some nasties, and I found this thing sticking up in the air. I think there's something wrong with the forests in this area.

Hi,

When I try to play the QMB mission downloadable on this site I get the following error message;

APPLICATION ERROR

The Instruction at "0x5ed0530e" referenced memory at "0x0000051c" The memory could not be read Click OK.....

Any ideas guys?

No other problems with my game!

This anomaly can occur when auto generated trees are on a texture that is placed on a nearly vertical surface. To fix one would have to either change the texture in that area or change the existing texture to "_fields" type to eliminate auto trees. The latter will affect how the texture generates trees on the entire map of course. -viking

It looks more like a Ram problem, an hardware one. how many ram have on your systeme? did you overcloked it ?

redko, in the pictures I quoted, your GAPA settings are different to the ones previously posted. These ones seem slightly more toned down, as they don't seem to be so bright. Are these new setting? and if so, what are they Wink Big Grin

Not a ram issue mate - I have 2GB no other problems with any other map, I think its a missing texture or something but cant pin it down.
