D, Glad you like the campaign!!!

In regards to the F4U-4B mod that was linked in this thread. I still don't know if I can offer a version of the campaing using such, but...

I love the F4U-4B, I love the Incendary Cluster Bombs, the Frag Bomb, and light Napalm, and all of the various rocket combos you can put on the aircraft!

Semper Fi KTO!

Do you plan on making more Korea campaigns with the Mig and such? I'm loving this one and I'm sure I'd love the others.

Check the previous page,

This is three projects I want to do on the KTO Map, all USMC;

1. Pusan to Seoul - (F4U1-C Version) or (F4U-4B Version)
2. The Frozen Chosin - (F4U-1C & F9F Panther Version) or (F4U-4B & F9F Panther Version) =WIP=
3. Mig Mad Marines - (New 1.2 Saber) {featureing the New UI 1.2 Mig-15} =Pending UI 1.2=

I did so personally with a F4U-4B that's linked in this thread by someone. Its from another site and the AI kept freezing in mid air whenever I used the radio to give them a command, so I'm waiting for an AAA KTO F4U to use if such comes out.

stansdds Wrote:The Pacific fighters crowd has been begging for the F4U-4 ever since 1C released Pacific Fighters, now we have a Korean map and campaign, but still no F4U-4. Given a choice between having the -4 and the -5, I'd take the -4 as it served in combat during the last three months of WW II and saw extensive use throughout the Korean War. There was a thread discussing the possibility of a -4, I do not know how to 3D model or write flight models, but I offered to provide technical information and photographs. So far, no one is willing to pick up the project. Sad

They have been available from some time already on Histomod and aviaskins, and now on SAS (see http://specialaircraftservice.com/sas/i ... 795.0.html)
The mods include new hsitoriaclly correct meshes for wings, armament and antennas and also new ordnance (meshes and java files) such as AT-HVAR, incendiary clusters, 260lbs frag bombs, new fuel tanks, napalm and other.
The flares java file come from Flakiten's Neptune (I have slightly modified the meshes) and I used the basic frankenplane mod by Ranwers as an initial basis for the development of the new F4-U5N mod. I included the new bombs skins by Zorin with some modifications (100 lbs US bomb added and corrected skins for HVAR - USN version and USAF/USMC version)

single slot Korean war F4U4B v1.1 can be downloaded at http://rapidshare.com/files/259493482/F4U-4Bv1.1.rar
single slot Korean war F4U-5 can be downloaded at http://rapidshare.com/files/259494636/F4U-5.rar
and single slot Korean war F4U-5N at http://rapidshare.com/files/259498269/F4U-5N.rar

The recognized bugs (already corrected on the upcoming final versions) include: oversized gunflash protectors nozzles, problem for dropping left central bomb on F4U-5.
The new version will include 100lbs incendiary bombs , corrected skin for incendiary "aimable" cluster and parachute flare bombs used as an alternative to the regular flares
Enjoy

Any guide on how to install these?

I uninstalled them cause they bugged out in mid air with me. They are not an AAA mod, and I am waiting to convert the campaign until the AAA KTO F4U comes out.
