Well again thanks for the info yet it's not quite what I'm looking for.....

What I'd like to see are different skins for individual static aircraft like we can do with AI......In Western Front battles it means little most times, same with eastern front. Where it matters is in the pacific for the Japanese where every aircraft was radically different.

Il-2 MAT Manager allows you to remove nationality insignas (roundels) as well as squadron crests on all airplanes, for all default nationalities. This is very useful for RAF planes, the default layout for RAF markings being just plain wrong.

Guys you must use blank skins. This way the game will use the skin you select as default. If you don't want markings then make sure skins are blank. You can change the markings to none in the arming screen. Example Squadron "None". That should get rid of the markings....

I posted this for everyone because Big Boss is right, There have been alot of posts asking about it.....

*Bearcat this is same mod and I posted the link that I found by doing a search in Yahoo. Open to the Public. This was done purely for everyone's enjoyment...AAA is not hosting any files.

*Quelty I use Windows XP and not vista, only thing I can think of is make sure that you have "Show hidden files and folders applied." To do this, click on my computer, go to tools, folder options, view. Then select show all hidden and folders button. then apply....

If anyone is using UP 2.0 or HSFX then these are the names of the planes folders of aircraft you my have problems with not showing new skins. These are the names....Try them they should work for ya...

In the next day or so I will post a new skins mod with all of the folders with complete names for UP2.0 and HSFX, This way all you have to do is drop the skins into that folder. Just like we did before. Got to do some testing and then Ill post it..
