Not NASA - it was the German Air Force in 1944-45, the suit was one of some testsuits of the german firm Draeger.
This was one example for using at high altitude, pressure suits.

What I mean is that US and Russians seized all the secret weapons prototypes
, designs and every invention the Germans created...
The Americans developed their missile technology out of the V-2, Russians as well. Mig-9 has two evolved German engines, and Northrop
developed their Flying Wing series... et.c

You haven't seen TV shows of the fifties, space horror and invaders from space in black and white such as the Twilight Zone (1959) apparently:
