Ha ha, you spoke too soon.
Would you believe it! after the first mission the second mission failed stating RAF number 25sqn not found. There must be something going on with the game itself since when this error occured my two other offline ( non dgen or DCG campaigns) campaigns have disappeared!!
Something else odd that happened during the first mission that may be a sign something was up, was when I took off I minimized the game and enabled the Facetrack programme and when I went back to the game the view had shifted to the left and the reticule was showing on the instrument panel.
Weird or what?

What OS are you running and in what directory is the game installed?

Windows7 64bit, and it is installed in C:/...not in the programs folder.

Exactly what version of the campaign and DCG are you trying to run?
Post the link for the campaign and I'll download it and check the squadron in question.

Thanks it's so frustrating especially when it looked as though it was finally working, it's just a shame I have to start my other campaigns from scratch...grrrrr

Hi,
I have the UP 2.01/HSFX 4.1mods via a switch! Perhaps there is a difference in a stand alone installation of the HSFX mod?!
You may should also ask Lowengrin in his forum about your problem!

Do you think then that the UP2.01 version may be slightly different in its squadron ID's?

Did you remember to enable the mods for the Dgen Campaign files in the JSGME for HSFX?

Do you mean the 'offline DGEN campaigns' mod in the JSGME switcher?
If so then yes I have.

Try disabling that particular mod and then running the campaign.
See if you still get the error.

I tried it and still no go, I'm wonderimg whether I should uninstall the whole game and start all over again.
I just can't understand why my reg.ini squad list includes units that aren't in game, I must have had some problem at some stage during my re-installation.
