I found out there is a new3D model for the Zero. Can I just uninstall the 4.11.0 patch or do I have to uninstall it all, and then patch up to 4.10.1.

The only possibility is to re-apply the 4.10.1 patch and see if the target files are set for you. That might do it, but you may need to re-apply the mods for 4.10.01 as a last step. It is worth a try.

Any mods made for 4.11 have the possibility for incompatibility with all previous patches or any previous mod pack.

Then install 4.10.1 again and see if the start up loading screen shows 4.10.1 instead of 4.11.1 another possibility of verifying it?
Can there be 2 different install of IL 1946 on the same drive but separate folders, one with Ultra Pack 3, ( 4.10.1) and the other HSFX (4.11.1)

Yes you can have as many installs as you like.
Install the game from disk- patch up to where you want say 4.10.1.
Copy this to a new folder call it what every . HSFX 6.0.

I would make a third copy as a back up.
We never know when some thing and will go wrong.

Thanks for the help and advice to all that have replied. I think I will go with 2 installs now, I will see how both work and then use one or my boys will use the one which ever they prefer.
