Better Water, how to?
#1

I finally picked up a Vidcard that has shaders and such so I should now be able to get realistic looking water. I know you have to go into the config files and mess with the various numbers but which lines do you change to get the better water and effects? I tried just changing water to 3 or 4 but didn't really see anything. Also, there are a few lines labled "shaders" but I don't want to change them until I know exactly what needs to be changed. Thanks in advance.

Try several figures for "water" (from 0 to 4). The best compromise is 2 IMO.

Cool, thanks. It seems to work well on 1 but I'll try 2. My computer is very old so it's a comprimise between graphics and playability. It's seems pretty smooth though at this point. Thanks again.
