[UPDATE] New Bf-109F's as standalone (MANUAL INSTALL)
#61

Any chanches to have a correct pack about "new cockpit bf 109" for U.I: 1.1 ? correcction & installation reported in this tread are very confusing and result in a failure (I only have default ones working now even I tryed to follow 4 pages for solve the problem..) : my hot suggestion is to give us a new pack install from scratch if possible Thanks

Edited the hier.him from the F-2 like you said and it worked but I have light battle damage on the front armoured glass.

This is just a guess but are we missing some mesh files? Noticed that the f4pit.him ask's for the following mesh files that I can't find;

Body2
Body3
Bottom2
Bottom3
Bottom4
Rear2
Rear3
Rear4
Rear5
Rear6
Rear7
Rear8
Rear9
Rear10

It asked for these as well which where in later 109 cockpits;

Reinstalled F2/F4, everything working fine now. Double checked first install, everything was in the right place. Who Knows?
Thanks

Downloaded and installed the Jabos etc. deleting my old ones first.

I find that the new Bf 109F2/B no longer has the R3 variant in it's loadouts, the option of the Mg 151/20 with or without tank.

Very dissapointing Sad , why was this dropped?

is there a way of retaining my old Bf 109F2/B and using all the other new F2's and F4's?

I especially like the F4/R1

cheers

I also really want to see a possible automatic installer for these beautys

GITANO, HAVE YOU REALIZED THAT THERE IS A BUG ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FUSELAGE? A BALKANKREUZE APPEARS ON IT, JUST UNDER THE PILOT (FOR EXAMPLE ON ALL YOUR BF-109'S TROP) IF YOU HAVE ACTIVATED GERMAN MARKINGS.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SOLVE IT. HELP ME.

THANKS A LOT FOR YOUR GREAT WORK.

After a bit of experimenting...

it is possible to load just the Trops, the Trops Jabos and the R1 leaving out the updated F2 and F4 Jabos to retain the old ones.

Retain the old Jabo .air .planes and weapons files, add the new ones excluding the non-trop jabo files use the default 'pit file in the mods folder. Then just add the appropriate folders (f2 trop, F2 Jabo Trop, F4 Trop, F4 Jabo Trop. and F4/R1.

And it works Smile

That was an initial guess. After re-checking my sources, there was no reference about that configuration and thus deleted it...

Quote:1) 3D/Visual bug on Trop versions appearing when firing (a little black cross on the right side of the fuselage): This is probably due to wrong mapping of trop filter on the skin. For the moment, I can't do anything for this, sorry!

Gitano please check your PM box. Thank you.

OK this is what worked for me......no guaruntees

1) Unzip you mod into a handy folder

2) open the MODS in the above folder and delete the folder "Bf-109F Jabo"

3) Insert the following lines into your .air plane_ru. and weapon_ru. files
