You must go to your main iL-2 Folder.
It should look something like this: C:\Programfiles\Ubisoft\iL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\STD\COM\MADDOX\iL2\Objetcs\air.ini.

If your are running Vista: C:\Programfiles(x-86)\Ubisoft\iL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\STD\COM\MADDOX\iL2\Objetcs\air.ini.

Hi all,

I've been working a bit on the cockpit and it's looking pretty good. I need volunteers to paint the gauges for the main controls panel (without the needle!) as separate parts using this template:
http://www.filefront.com/14289721/instr ... mplate.rar

The requirements are pretty simple:
-Layer 1 contains the black disc, do not modify it.
-Layer 2 should contain the numbers, lines and if there is any, the text inside the gauge. The color for the white lines, white text and white numbers should be pale yellow (196,197,149)

Don't put any shadows, scratches, or light effects of any kind, all I need is a clean layer with the numbers in place.

Example:

The instruments that need to be painted are for this cockpit:

Most (if not all) are unreadable, but there are some pictures of different gauges in this thread, and in this website (scroll down).

Hey PeterD, here's an exhaust temperature gauge I did. The "mech background" is just for show, the text and lines are on a separate layer like you asked for.

If you want it PM me.

And proper centripetal flow jet engine characteristics

No, It'll be using twin ion engines i'm afraid.

Hello PeterD,

Unfortunately the reference link you posted didn't work. (But did get the photoshop template okay.)

Are the images that hawkzz posted what you need for your panel?

Cheers,

Taurus.

Yes they are!
It doesn't have all the dials but all the dials included in Hawkzz's picture are correct. I'll try to find more pictures of the missing dials

Watch this vide, shows Sabre's working ACM in practice through the guncam. At about the 7:00 mark watch the roll rate of the jet trying to shake the trailer..
