This is my current project - coming along nicely. I need to finish detailing map_T and populate the towns. I am planning on making extensive use of dlv's wonderful Egypt objects. All you RAF blokes who got your butts kicked on my Crete map can exact your revenge here, as in RL :wink: -Cheers - viking

Nice work Viking. Now i just wish there were two more of ME + two computers to have the time to enjoy everything. :lol: Map looks just like out of a history book. Very nice.

Looks nice, but there is something I noticed in my own flailing attempt to retexture the NE Libya map with Google Earth tiles some months ago.
The game engine makes the Google Earth tiles very light and bright. I never figured out how to control that and "tone down" the colour to a darker, duller sand shade.
