S!
I´m having heavy lag over Berlin map on a tree top flight. I´m on UP 3.0RC4 but it also happens in a vanilla install of 4.101. I´m not new to IL2 and it´s been 8 years now and I´ve tried all known procedures to get rid of these lags. Guess the culprit is "Visibility Distance" because when set to "Low" lags are gone. My rig is:
Intel i7 3930K 3.2GHz
Asus Sabertooth X79
Gigabyte GTX 680 OC
G. Skill RipJaws DDR3 2133 16GB
SSD Corsair Force 3
SSD OCZ Revo X2 240GB
WDC WD5000AAKS 500GB
Samsung HD103SJ 1TB
BenQ XL2420T 24"
Corsair HX1050W
Win 7 64 bits Ultimate
Thanks
SP!
I was just flying 4.11.1 and noticed that in both the F6F-3 and F6F-5 the fuel gage no longer indicates the correct fuel level and is labeled as if it is a temperature gage with a C in the middle of the gage.
So I flew 4.10 and the gages showed the correct fuel levels and was labeled correctly.
Flew 4.11 and the gage was incorrect.
Flew 4.11.1 again and gage was incorrect.
Yes these are all stock game installations and not from a JSGME Mod installation.
Hi, guys
Is HSFX 6 working for you? Is it good or what?

Heya all.. Get it while it's hot!
Done with the beige and the gray.. Not sure about the colours used in those pictures. (colour degradation, artist's perception)

Hi everybody,
I'm new here, but not to IL2. Recently I updated my OS to Win7x64. To my horror IL2 1946 won't install the out of the box version. So I'm grounded so to speak. Need urgent help.
The setup starts, the firewall asks for permission, I allow the installation to start and then nothing happens.
Please bear in mind that I'm no genius, so a "moron's guide to solving this problem" would be welcome and appreciated.
I realize Cliffs of Dover may not be the most popular sim around here, LOL....but for those of you thinking about it and need help with key commands, II/JG53 presents....
Cliffs of Dover Key Command Kit v1.0
In this package is listings of Key Commands for IL-2: Cliffs of Dover (at BETA PATCH v.1.08.18956 - issued August 4, 2012)
1. Cliffs of Dover Key Commands listing:
- a. in .PDF format
- b. in .xls MS Excel File format
- c. in generic .csv format (generic spreadsheet)
2. Keyboard Layout Graphic Template:
- a. in .PDF format for use in manually working out your keyboard key command layout.
- b. in .TIFF format, for custom modifications.
- c. in .PNG format, for custom modifications. Slip in your favorite image below the keyboard image!
3. Elongated Keyboard Layout Graphic Template (add your own colors, as you desire, for each band and the modifier keys: Shift, Control, Alt)
- a. in .PDF format for use in manually working out your keyboard key command layout.
- b. in .TIFF format, for custom modifications.
- c. in .PNG format, for custom modifications. Slip in your favorite image below the keyboard image!
The database information provided in these files includes a unique "_ID" for each command...these values are of my own making, used for reference only and have no purpose or association in the game. I also included the command name found in the "ConfigUser.ini" file for each key command.
I have included the "default" key settings that came with the game when I purchased it...I assume these values may change based on different purchase dates. I have left out any default joystick commands. At the end of the listing are the "Axes" commands for joystick setup.
I am sure there will be errors in this data. I discovered during my work that the listing in-game can change based on the information provided in the configuser.ini file. For example, if you enter two different key commands assigned to the same key...the key command will be listed twice in-game. I also found that the developers have slightly changed the names of some in-game command names during their patch releases. For example, "Loosen Shoulder Straps" has become "Lean to Gunsight." At a minimum, this document should get you started in working out your own setup.
Cheers,
II/JG53-Marmus
