I never noticed this with stock IL2, bu there seems to be a 'bug' in the Fw190A5's ground handling - it's terrible.
I've got the v601 + history mod (I think it is) and was on an AcesOverEurope server.

Take off handling is no problem, but on landing Tail Wheel locked/unlocked, left/right turn, full differential brakes and throttle up and down == Nudder/nothing
I'm not sure whether this extends across aircraft and/or maps.

Hi there!
I downloaded the torrent version of the mod. Installed it using the first and second exe.

Now I'm not 100% sure it installed.. I changed the directory to my steam directory where the game is installed.
But I can see no evidence the mod installed.. No folders in the game root folder that are called HSFX and using the mod enabler I tried to activate the history mod
but it doesn't show.. So looking in the mod folder the same the history mod isn't there nor anything to do with the HSFX mod.

P.S Clean install of the game..

~Salute!~ All,

Last November I received an email from longtime aviation author Steve Pace whom expressed interest in my photography work which he was seeking to place within some of the photo sections of his next book "Mustang - Thoroughbred Stallion of the Air", due to be released on September 1st, 2012. Three of my photos have made it into the book, one of which was personally nominated by the author to be selected as the front cover but was turned down by the authors. This is my first work to be published, and this wouldn't have happened without the generous support of my friends, family, my buddies in the 78th Fighter Group, and those of you who complimented on my work. It was this support that keeps me at what I enjoy to do, and for this, words simply do not describe my thankfulness for all of it. I am truly overwhelmed from the amount of support I have received over the past few years, and now its finally come full circle. My apologies for the long-winded letter, I'll cut to the chase of what you guys and gals want to see.

Once again, thank you so much.

Blue Skies, Happy Landings, Thank you.

-78thFG_Doodle, Mitchell Babarovich.

Here's the cover of the book, with more information: 8x10 inches; hardbound; dust jacket; 224 pages; 200 photos

One of my three photos that are inside it (bottom picture), this one is within the color section. The other two are in monochrome and are located in other sections of the book.

Hallo,

Was mache ich falsch?

Vielen Dank!

Good day, everyone Smile

An updater type application is available for HSFX 6.1 (only for patched to 6.1 at this time) and a micro patch only available through it. The updater will give you quick update of changes to HSFX 6.1 as they become published. Examin the READ-ME file inside the download folder.

The other day I was walking across my home town seeing to one of obligatory but unwanted activities that life sets once in a while. The particular part of town I was passing through isn't the most salubrious, but there's little danger when things are quiet. Nonetheless above me was a fight for the skies over Swindon, a real dogfight in progress.

I had heard the constant shriek of a seagull. Although very much inland seagulls are commonly seen in Swindon so I paid it no attention. On a house roof nearby a crow was getting agitated. I'm sure I wasn't the cause, and that point I awoke from my comatosed condition and wondered why the seagull was making such a noise. A hawk was circling at the same altitude, trying to mind it's own business, as the seagull made persistent attempts to get it to go somewhere else.

Was the hawk on home gorund or an unwelcome intruder? I have no idea, but it was concerned with spotting targets of opportunity on the ground and resisted the seagulls intimidation with some extraordinary coolness under duress. Eventually the seagull realised it wasn't going to win, fell silent, and glided away in defeat. I don't know where the crow went.

Just another little drama in the natural world I guess, but it was unexpected and interesting to watch.

Lighting was kinda bad for ground to air photos but it was a great show nonetheless. Hosted by the Heritage Flight Museum in Bellingham, Washington.
