I play IL-2 now since many many years and I love all his modifications . And now there comes a in my opinion very good idea:
The game shows just the Me 163 how it should have been , but whats about a Me 163 how it WAS ?
It would be very cool and interesting if there would be a 'Me 163 B-2 Realistic Effects' version . This plane should be programmed that every 3rd machine has some fails and every fail should be other e.g :
1st machine all right
2nd machine all right
3rd machine engine fail
....
6th machine white smoke in cockpit after 7 min you just see white
....
9th machine gas in cockpit after a few min you can't see anything because you're tearing
...
12th machine gas in cockpit after a few seconds you're dead because the gas was corrosiving you

Every machine should be in Danger of these effects at the landing
These fails were in the Real Me 163 standardly at every 3rd machine .
Would it be possible to make such a mod?

I can't seem to find any of the files such as all.ini and individual pilot folders normally found in the Users folder.
I have played DGen missions and such so there should be information about that as well.

Probably has something to do with Windows 7, but it won't let me uncheck read-only for Users.


Edit: Fixed, this has to do with Windows 7 being very touchy about putting things in Program Files, as talked about elsewhere in the forums. Back in action.

General overhaul of AI-behaviour

The following video gives a first impression of a lot of subtle or major changings we have done on the AI, so that it is behaving more like human players - so it is more comprehensible, more unforeseeable and more varied.
