this dive sound samples is meant to work with LT.wolfs dive sound mod. i added metal stress sound while in a dive and it sounds a bit more as hearing it from inside the cockpit.

the gun hit sounds include vibration wich coincide with the vibration you see when stroked by fire.

set up a quick ground attack and and check them out

Hello all,

After the very welcome BAR OUT mod for Fw190A/D made by Fucida ,here is another BAR OUT mod for the Me109 family:
The in-cockpit rear view bug correction for the Kurfurst-4. :!:

Correcting the antenna bugs in the Me109 family:

Arrow About the antenna mast rear view bug in the Kurfurst-4 cockpit.

First,a little recall:
As you may already know,a very old graphic bug affects the rear view inside the Kurfurst-4 cockpit since the beginning of the IL2 serie.
This bug is the antenna mast that is still showing while it shouldn't... Confusedhock:
Thanks to the recent Fucida's mod for the Fw190,i could find some useful infos to use in the 109 familly as well Smile
This correction provides a little gain to the rear visibility,as it was IRL,and makes the Erla canopy more useful than ever.

Here is the result provided by the correction:

Arrow This mod removes the antenna mast we have in the stock Me109-K4 cockpit rear view.
Arrow For those who have installed my previous mods, including the "G10 & G14 Late-War" (here) and the G10-Erla (there),in which those three planes have also the missing antenna mast,i adapted this new mod for them. Smile

Example with my Me109-G10 Late-War:
- Outside view (See the missing antenna mast like on the K4 Wink)
- Inside cockpit, rear view. (Tadam! Smile)

Arrow This correction is also fully compatible with the "Clean Erla canopy windows" option i provided with my previous mods. Wink

Photos & documents IRL about the LateWar 109s rear view:

At 109Lair,the G10 "Late-War" W.Nr.611943 ( :!: 56k :!: )

Arrow About the uncorrect antenna type for the ingame Me109-G6/AS.

As some of you have certainly already noticed, our ingame G6/AS has a circular antenna on the fuselage roof, which is located at the second fuselage section...Like on the K4. Confusedhock:
As a Gustav model, the G6/AS goniometric antenna is normally placed on the first fuselage section, like on all the other goniometric antenna that equipped the Gustav. Idea

Here is the correction:

Arrow This mod replaces the previous stock G6/AS circular antenna, that was historically uncorrect.

Real data about this type of antenna on the G6/AS

At 109Lair:

- Me109 G6/AS and G6/U2/AS (with GM-1 or rather MW50 like we have ingame) drawings from a right sided view.

At Me109Hangar:

- A G6/ASon a black and white photo.
- A colored profileof a G6/AS.

---------------------------

Then,
I realised an external mod still for Kurfurst-4,still inspired from real facts:
Due to the harsh and rough conditions in which Luftwaffe pilots had to take-off and land, some of them decided to remove the wheel well covers from their brand new Me109-K...

Wheel well covers removal for the Kurfurst-4:

Documents IRL about this "Field-mod":

At Me109 Hangar:

- The Me109-K4 W.Nr.332660 of Leutnant Günther Landt

Hi there people!

Just messing around with PS, I'm currently working on a "multisource" template of 109E, there are layers from 6 or 7 templates (sparty, FBS, Foo.Bar, and many others.. tell me if some credits are missing..)

If someone is interested..

Is there anyway to make a patch for 4.09 that would allow locking out of external views EXCEPT when a player is not flying (dead, landed, hasn't taken off, etc.)? It would be great to be able to restrict players to internal views only, but when they are out of action to allow them to view the rest of the action using external views of friendly and hostal a/c.

When a major battle is raging and you are unlucky enough to get killled early it's really boring to have to sit and wait for everyone else to finish...unless you can follow the action.

Any hope for such a patch?

It should be possible (with some re-coding in java of course) to modify the communications in offline missions. It would be great to refine and improve the way commands are given and information is received.

There is one change in particular that should be relatively simple to do and would make the game SO much more enjoyable. Adding information identifying the person talking.

i.e. if instead of 'Attention, Fighters 5 o'clock High' we got 'Red Leader: Attention, Fighters 5 o'clock High' and instead of 'Heading 300' we got 'Yellow Leader: Heading 300' etc etc, it would be possible to finally differentiate between communications meant for us and comms relating to flights with different objectives.

This on its own would be great.

Another thing I would like to have is a 'Check In' function, to get the status of your flight... e.g. 'Red 2: Rejoining Formation', 'Red 3: Engaging Bombers' etc etc
