Ok,

This is the thread where I'll put WIP pics of the map I'm currently working on. Basically it's an approx. 120km x 120km map of the top end, built specifically for intercept/scramble type missions against the attacking Japanese.

Hey guys I D/L a Mission called Doodlebugs Down I belive...It wont load I get this error message..

'mission loading failed: Landscape 'FLY_ZO_BOB/FLY_Z_NORMA_LOAD.INI' Loading error.

Now I have the FLY ZO BOB mod installed..This is in ver 4.08M...Can you please tell me whats wrong?...

Why cant we do some ground vehicles instead of always being planes?
create this tank and the planes will fall like bombs :mrgreen:

I have seen in some screens and in some tracks pilots heads turning to face the dircetion the plane is turning - is there a mod for this? How do you get pilots to turn there heads in game?

I,ve installed the English Sound version 9.0....then the AAA Mod Pack....the Flames from the exhausts at startup ....Dive Sounds....the Landing Screech/Gear Sound/...and the New static clouds layer....Now i have found i have No Exhaust Flames on any of the Jets....and theres a engine sound that plays when i spawn into a multi-player game...(sounds like a J-3 Cub)...is there a fix for this yet????? Where are the flames file located and what opens this file????

I only recently installed 1946... then updated it to 4.08. I then followed the instructions in this thread to update and mod it:

In short, I installed the sound mod, then the new modded beta version downloaded from this site, then the switcher. I then changed the config file for better water and view distance and such.

The game runs fine and looks great and I like the sounds.

The problem is.... the game is defaulted to Russian as a language now! I cannot read the missing briefings nor choose a campaign or anything because its all now in Russian. How do I get english?

I have just been accused of giving someone a virus - ok i take this very seriously... im looking into it. unfortunatly the person in question has given me no detials about the virus or which file it supposedly came from ??mmm so you all know i regulary update my virus software (mcafee) so i would be very suprised if it got through

please if anyone has got a virus from any of our files please let me know asap

on that note please dont be alarmed by this - i am doing a second scan of all the files on our database to check for viruses & so far nothing has shown up
