any way of creating submergable subs, for sub hunting campaigns
Is it possible to modify the buildings to be worth points? It seems so fruitless to go and carpet bomb an industrial district only to come home with no points cause they aren't worth a thing
This development update will be about details of the damage model. In case when damage, such as major damage to the surfaces, missing parts, or lost cowling covers, etc .. occurs during a flight, aerodynamics will be affected.
i would like it if people here could design/create us a loading screen for our mod-packs & then if ok with you all the admin & moderators could pick 10 out for a vote - it dosnt have to say AAA or anything like that just something tasty lol something that looks real nice - the winning design would have there splash screen used in the mod-packs we could have 3 finilists with 1st being for the super mod pack (all flyable aircraft mods) then 2nd all bombers mod-pack & 3rd being the fighters/fighter-bombers mod-pack - im not exactly sure about this yet as im unsure if anyone would choose only fighters or choose only bombers ? just not sure
what do you say guys & girls
id like to get this rolling for christmas
hiya just to let you all know the installers & un-installers are now vista compatible phew!
That's it
Hey guys Im not a computer gurus like some of the mod makers here, but I do know how to find my way around with a little help. With all these excellent mods floating about, I thought Id try my hand at it with maybe making a simple mod. I managed to extract the sfs files and alter the Hud Tga files of the cartoonish guages in the WW view to more realistic looking .Then I put them into the file folder eg; 3do/cockpit/Null 3do/cockpit/nill 3do/cockpit/hurricaneMK I with the proper tga and mat also proper pathway in the filelist but I still get the originals cartoonish guages.
Do I have to delete the originals or can someone shed some light Thanks.
Just a thought, but is it possible to mod together an italian SM79 using the JU52 and either a Russian or Japanese torpedo bomber weapon load and FM?
THis would not mean altering or changing any FM just hacking the aircraft modeling as was done with the Typhoon , Cr 32, and Fairybattle.
I know the Italian flyers would give their eye teeth for this one.

Thought it's time to have a separate thread discussing what we know and what we don't know about creating textures, about the way the game uses textures and so on. Also if you work on new textures and would like to share them, you may post a download link, or screenshots.
Here's one question to start with: if there's a texture, one pixel from it corresponds to how many meter on the map?
Another one: there are .tga and .tgb files, even for same texture. What are these .tgb's doing?
Another one: what are the .bumph files and how is the game using them?
Another one maybe connected with the earlier: why some game textures look high resolution and others look low resolution (you see the pixels in game)?
