Now that we have the paratroopers with the transports, is it possible to have in a mission that a successful outcome is only possible if you drop the troops within a certain area? Same with the cargo pallets, you have to drop them within a certain zone to resupply troops on the ground...
well i cant believe its taken me this long to figure this out but there you go ...
ive finally figured out how to make the outside plane guns mesh go invisible so that when yor in a turret you dont have both the guns from the turret & the guns from the plane mesh overlapping - hope this makes sense - but you need the game to only display the guns from the turret you are in at the time & then make the guns from the ctual plane disapear - anyway it should now mean we can finaly position the ball turrets into the correct position - well i hope so - but we'v still got the muzzel flash to worry about :wink:
Ok, i received instructions for modding long waited actors bugger
They are just first draft and there are some problems with larger maps ( actors files).Now, we didn't sure is that related to our inadequate computers or ...
So anyone who would be so kind and participate in testing please let me know
Conditions are the same as they were with map_c.tga!!!!

Hi all,
I've been really happy with the efforts of the mod community. However, after installing the Ju52, the game will no longer launch. Any ideas for a fix? I've tried launching as administrator etc...no dice. Thanks in advance for suggestions. (running Vista. No problems up til now)
Folks, there goes an striking idea - A Spitfire Vc + Seafire
Making it so that you can split up the views on a server....
for example... allowing external view of friendly.. but not enemy....
or
allowing externals only after a player has either bailed or crashed... there must be something that lets the sim know when you are not able to fly anymore... maybe it is tied in with the same thing that lets you issue commands to the AI...
or
finding a way to get icons without arrows... in an open pit server....
It would be nice if all these things could be set server side but work across the board... probably not possible though unless everyuybody is modded up.....
So, after a little discussion with some "mappers", i discovered that the RGB values for each load.ini
file does not correspond! so each map has it's own values for the different fields (Lowland-midland-airfield,etc...)
Now the question is: where could those values be hided? :evil:
