I know we can add our own picture on the Spit IX gunsight now,is there any way to do this on the other gunsights?

What do you think about the possibility of

1. Repairing those dumb cannon barrels on the German aircraft?
The gondola barrels are way too fat and out of perspective on both the 109's and FW's.


2. The underwing gas tanks on the P51's defy gravity and are suspended in mid air under the pallet attachments.

3. The German munitions are badly painted, and in some cases painted the wrong colors.
What would it take for us skinners to give these bombs and what not a new face.
If this could be done, it certainly would look a hell of a lot better .

an idea for those with vista but find it troublesome for il2.... or those with XP who are putting off the install of Vista

use both.... have one computer (Operating System) for il2...another for normal internet use.... another for other games.... another for each kid or the wife to use.... another for photo/video/movie making

and swap/clone/backup between them easily

I've not seen anything regarding the publication of version 2.0 of the QMB mod (the one that was supposed to permit adding all the new maps). If it has been dropped, is there a simple way to add all maps to permit air start missions without going through the tedious process of constructing each mission by hand within FMB and adding it then into QMB? If so could someone provide an outline of the method? Again only looking for air starts (keep it simple)

SB

1. Change gunsight in P-39 from Russian type to American N-9 circle with dot.
2. Use convoy date to make formations of aircraft for mission builder.
3. Make Barracuda or Firefly 3D model.
4. Change B-25G to solid nose B-25J... even trade
5. Change default F6F-5 skin to ALL BLUE, not three tone blue which was never used
6. Change TBM-3 default skin to all blue
7. Make Graf Zeppelin CV and add Ju-87 and Bf 109 with tail hook

This is what i've been doing, the rework on the textures of the 109 cockpit.
Question is, is this kind of mod well accepted in Community?
I know a lot of people that would like to have a new visiual in the 109 cockpit, so i started this ''Joke'' and it is close to be finished now...

Hello gents,

It takes rightfully some time to bail out, even longer with closed canopy.
However, once you make it out with good chute on low alts (I did not measure)
death is still sure.
Now thats the part where I think modding (if possible) would be in place.
As soon as you have a good chute and no ground contact exists you should be good,
increasing your life in campaigns....

Noticed, you can't put "nose art" on the B-25C, the way you can on the other B-25s. Has anyone looked into this to see if there is a way to correct this?
