Thanks to those who helped with the advice. I made some subtle changes to create beautiful lighting (IMO) in the Slovakia map.

It does'nt take much to get some nice effects, I notched my settings up by about 50 on clouds and landlight. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

falco Wrote:Thank you avala just some problem for me:

1) files can only be opened with microsoft acess and I've grey screen into the window of the program so 8no possibility of look into/change parameters
2) I've Vp Media Mapmods and it created a equal folder called _Tex AND into it there are jet 2 files named "cloudshadows" and "landlight " (microsoft acess files) then I ask how i can add your mod or what if I remove Vp ones ?

If vpmedia linked his LandLight.mat with his repainted maps (by the method said earlier in this thread by bee), then in those maps you should see his settings. In maps which he didn’t repainted and didn’t linked them (if he did that in first place with any) you will see this. If he didn’t change anything, you should see this one. In any case you can change values in this files or those of vpmedia’s and set them according to your preferences, and I think it is best solution, for everyone to set for himself what he likes.

And here is mine conf.ini settings for OpenGL, I think it also affect those effects (like shadows of the tree rows).

I think that it is video card dependant, if you have one that supports shader=3 then it is added automatically. To be honest I can’t remember since when I have that line in the settings.
