I think I may have mentioned this before but I wonder if it might be possible to add an underwing bombload to the Hurricane IIc similar to the IIb? Better still could it be fitted up with the 8x60lb rockets that are carried by the Tempest? This would be great on the Mosquito FBVI too.
I agree with the policy of not tampering with fms, but this load out option would be very nice to have.
PPS, an arrestor hook on the Hurri and the Gladiator would also be cool
As topic say, the engine sound disappear as soon as the bombs are released. It's like the haul from the bombs take over the sound. As soon as they explode I get engine sound back.
Using the 9.0 version.
Does this only happen to me, or it is the same for you guys?!
Hello chaps..
I've started to use the bombsight recently as it was an area of IL2 that was a bit of a 'dark art' to me..
I'm slowly getting to grips with it, and it's quite satisfying when I eventualy get bombs on target! :mrgreen:
However, I have a question for you bomber guru's.. Sometimes the graticule pattern dissapears and I'm just left with the viewing circle.. Does this happen for anyone else?
Sorry to be a pain, and my question may seem obvious to you more experienced 'bomber boys'!!

unrar to temp folder
Install:
1.copy files folder into your game root folder
2.add those lines to your filelist.txt
maps/Crimea/fly_Z_d_load.ini
maps/Crimea/fly_Z_d_map_T.tga
maps/Crimea/fly_Z_d_texts.txt
3. ATANTION - OVERWRITING RISK !!!! if you already have all.ini file ( files\maps) add this line into it:
fly_Z_Crimea_d Crimea/fly_Z_d_load.ini
if you don't have all.ini file just copy file that comes with this mod (file from all.ini folder) into your: files\maps folder
things i couldn't fix:
- green patches on two or three crossroads
- green earth runways
- random trees if forest set to 3 in config.ini
- Crimea Rock + castle

I have the ubi download version of the game and was wondering if there was a way to make the sound mod work doesn't seem to ...seems the exe. is is totally different in size and content....

Hello,
I know editing flight models is against the rules but I think an exception should be made for these three cases:
- Decrease the thrust of the LAGG-RD (to 500kg)
- Cause the tail of the TA-183 to snap off at maximum speed
- Introduce instability at high speed to mimick the wing warping of the He-162D
- Prevent high speed movement of throttle on Yak-15, Mig-9 and Me-163
Additionally, deletion of the outer wing racks on the Ar-234 would be realistic. It would also be interesting to mount X-4 on them (this is more plausible than the TA-183 X-4 option which should be removed).
Has there been any investigation into unlocking the 32 player COOP limit? Even better would be if there was way to add 'chiefs' (AI aircraft - ground units and CV that can move) into a DF server - this way we could utilize the dedicated server program.
I figured this would be the best place to ask for help with this.In il2 1946 when I go to the mission builder and try to pick skins for the He-162d all i get is the one default skin.I have 15 skins in my 162d folder but they don't show up for me when I try to use them.If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Just asking you experts, as the task to correct the pilots helmets and get rid of the unhistorical bulge that belongs to a post War soviet design seems to be impossible by just copying and pasting... :?
