A little guide for the large HSFX mod pack is here for installing it. The HSFX 6.0 mod pack for online and offline use of great mods was recently released. HSFX 6.0.1 "Bug-fix" patch is now available. The auto-updater will get your updates to you quickly and easily. Patch stock IL-2 correctly first!


For correct patching of stock IL-2 before you add HSFX Mod Pack, see the following thread (You need to get IL-2 patched to 4.11.1):

Read the READ-ME file which comes with each HSFX patch download. Help is also available at the 242nd squadron website or in this HSFX forum. Use the JSGME Mods Enabler to activate the History Mods and any others which you like. You may find the file for the JSGME Mods Enabler in the main registry of files in IL-2 after you installed HSFX 6 and bring a shortcut to desktop from it. After patching with HSFX, if you see the HSFX intro screen instead of the stock one, then you likely got the patching right.

HSFX mod pack has a large collection of maps, airplanes, effects, sounds, and other mods.

This is in wip in HistoMod. I want to say that this F100D has no relation with the one on friendly site SAS.
It is a 100% freddy creation. Still in WiP (cockpit, FM and all details), but it is flying, see underneath!




KB29 probe and drogue (WiP also) and F100 with 4xM117 daisycutter.

I read that there was a 6.0.1 patch for HSFX 6.0. Can we download it from this site (allaircraftsimulations)?

Here is the inside scoop on UP. Zuti and Hades have walked away. Boomer is gone for the summer and sounds like he is quitting or at least doesn't give a rats behind anymore. The website and I think the domain name are Hades. If he does not renew then watch the site go down. The scuttlebutt [rumor] is that TD stole some of the coding for Zuti's MDS so they quit. I don't know if that is true and you can be the judge on who is the villain, after all, modding can be interpreted as stealing the original game configuration in the first place. Looks like runaway egos killed another good thing.

Bottom line: IF YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE NEXT UPDATE [UP3.1] THAT WAS PROMISED IN TWO WEEKS LAST NOVEMBER, DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH BECAUSE NO ONE IS WORKING ON IT.

Macwan from TD has been busy reworking the P-40 series, so no more bent wings issue etc...

Just one small problem because theses are completely new models the old skins will not match any-more, but thats a small price to pay don't you think 8)

Hi there, been a very long time since I last played IL-2 ( my laptop died ) and now I finally got a new (good ) pc put together , so after shedding some tears of joy I started to gather the latest modpacks and everything...I can't really remember which version of HSFX I played 1-1.5 years ago, I thought this 6.0 should be awesome...I followed the patching procedure ( 4.08-4.09-4.10-4.11.1 ) and it worked just fine...but the HSFX histomod and the 6Dof mod replaces the IL2fb.exe witha 156-225 kb. exe file and the game won't start. I tried it with the hfsx 5.0 , same thing happened. It's been a long while, really can't remember if there was anything else to do to get these packs working...I found only one post with the same problem so far he didn't get any answer...Sorry for bothering with such problem ( I have a feeling the solution is sg. obvious:-))))))) I tried, and I tried again...but no results. Thank You all for Your patience and for any info on this...I'm sure You all can imagine how I missed this game...thank You
