Gents, I want to know how to open the .TGA cockpit files for reskinning some. Any tip?

Changing the Arado fuselage and wings by the body of the U2 ( please use the Radial engine )so we will be able to have a seaplane.
Possible?

im new here, actualy me and my friend were playing on a 4-4 server and some one from here told us about this place and the all planes mod.. is there a seperate folder for the Me210 and 410?

this place seems really cool though, and i plan on sticking around lol.. just asking though, i like those planes

I gotta tell ya just how good all these mods are! I wish Maddox had've paid attention to these gaps and fractures in IL2. Thankfully the modders have and are filling those gaps and fixing the fractures.
I fly the Bf109 almost all the time and it is a more realistic and pleasurable experience now with audio on landing gear, exhaust flame, new engine audio and having those "new" Luftwaffe planes such as the Fw200 Kondor and the Arado Ar196 really add to this WW2 sim. And having Allied planes such as the B17 to shoot at is very cool.

So ya, the built in time compression in Il2 only has fixed rates... "1/2" etc...
If someone could make a time mod, with precise percentages - like 65%, or explain how it could be done via config... please let me now..

I should imagine it's impossible to change the scale of pilot figures which are way too big. Any ideas?

Also any chance of altering the dark sky at altitude? No way it should look like outer space at 25,000 ft!

The gun sounds for ALL planes in 0.93 are definitely not loud enough. I would appreciate a mod that makes them louder.
(or instructions to do that myself.. if it isn't too difficult)

I think the Point of View of the pilot in the MXY-7 is too high (like the cockpit is too high). This is especially apparent when attached to the Betty (your head is inside the plane at gunner waist level). I don't know anything about how these mods are put together and perhaps it is because it is a cockpit from another plane.

Is there an easy way for me to modify the cockpit height and play around with it or is it set? The people who make the mods do an awesome job and if this is something I can do myself without bothering them then I would like to try it.

Cloud layer mod is only on the first 2 pics.

My game keeps loading up in 640x320 resolution and in full screen even when i change it and then close it still keeps on opening at that. All the sounds have dissappeared for the game as well!! I even changed the config to match some of my working 404m game but when i opened it still went to full screen and 640x320!!!

normally it is on windowed and 1024x768

Something has reset everything and kept it that way!!!!

Any help please?
